Midsized general contractor seeks Divisional Manager to oversee the entire construction operations. Firm is privately held, commercial and institutional building contractor, 30hard bid and 70negotiated project delivery. Projects consist of office, school, multifamily, hotel, retail, medical building projects. Annual volume exceeds $75M. Position reports to the CEO who is strong in sales and requires a candidate with strengths in running operations. Candidate should have a stable job history with large commercial building GC and be familiar with the Chicago construction marketplace. Must have managed at least a $50M construction operation, and be capable of supervising the entire estimating and project management staff.

Oversees the strategy for developing, promoting and implementing the sales efforts for retail targeted affordable housing products for a multi-family division. Direct the development of new products and enhancements to current products. Oversee sales, structuring, pricing and negotiating of targeted affordable housing transactions. Monitor and analyze national and state legislative developments impacting affordable housing. Establish and maintain key customer and external relationships with key trade associations and constituencies. Oversee and manage the targeted affordable lender network. Must have significant experience in managing tax-exempt bonds, community development block grants, and low-income housing tax credits.

Education: Masters degree in Business Administration, Real Estate Finance or related discipline and at least ten years experience in commercial real estate.

Accountable for annual purchase volumes, profitability and affordable housing results. Interfaces with underwriting and credit departments in connection with loan activity. Analyze market trends and opportunities and recommend changes to products as necessary.Direct people and processes within the department and make recommendations regarding hiring, training and motivation of staff.

Education: Masters degree in Business Administration, Real Estate Finance or Economics and at least ten years experience in income property finance or investment with a concentration in Seniors Housing segment and two years of supervisory experience.



Title: Underwriting Director

Primarily responsible for credit quality of loan production and underwriting. Must be able to evaluate proposed loans for credit risk, negotiate and obtain deal approvals and oversea issuing commitments.

Responsibilities include creating pro formas, I& E and rent roll analysis, market analysis, property inspections, presenting deals for approval. Must be able to underwrite all property types, including bonds and seniors deals and will be generally responsible for larger and more complex transactions. Must have significant experience in underwriting tax exempt bond credit enhancements, tax credits and mortgages backed by tax credits, Knowledge of HUD programs and sate and local subsidy programs. Will mentor junior staff and help train personnel.

Education: B.S. in business, Finance or related field and eight years of experience.
